This set of shelves has an interesting design different from most floating shelves. The mixed metal and wood construction features a steel rail around the top edge of the shelf, making the shelves closer to floating open boxes. This rail functionality makes the shelves ideal for displaying taller objects that may precariously teeter on a traditional floating shelf.
